Full Throttle Remastered gets first trailer – it brings back memories

Back in the days of yore LucasArts created a couple of great adventure games. One of them, Full Throttle, is getting a remastered version, which has now received its first trailer.

Almost a year has passed since Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions (developers of Broken Age, Brutal Legend, and Psychonauts) announced that they are working on a remastered version of LucasArts’ cult classic adventure game Full Throttle. Now, the project has got the first trailer, which shows off new high-res graphics and good old soundtrack by hard rock band The Gone Jackals – the moment you hear that riff, you’re right back in the ‘90s. Full Throttle Remastered is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita some time in 2017.

Full Throttle tells a story of a biker gang leader Ben, who gets entangled in a fishy affair, which puts the entire future of motorcycle industry in grave danger. After getting knocked out by goons in suits and having discovered that his brothers are gone, the protagonist has to fight rival gangs and a sinister enterprenuer in order to save the bikers’ legacy. As befits a LucasArts game, this seemingly-serious story comes with much humor.
