Gray Zone Warfare is a popular multiplayer tactical shooter. The game was released at the end of last month but managed to gather thousands of fans already. However, the title is not ideal. Developers are fully aware of that fact, as they have published few hotfixes so far. The upcoming update is a bigger one, though. Patch 1 introduces hundreds of smaller and bigger tweaks.

As it was announced on the official Discord server, the next GZW update will be the big one. It contains as many as 200 changes. Developers have informed that the Patch 1 enters the main game branch today (it was available for testing to volunteers before). More precisely in a few minutes (2 pm CET). That is why the game is unavailable right now (at the moment of writing this article).

Update: Full list of changes can be found here.

Some of the main Patch 1 adjustments are connected with mitigating:

  1. Ability to change VOIP keybinds.
  2. Problems with tasks: The Art of Deception and It’s in the Water.
  3. Using Sights and being unable to see reticles.
  4. Stuck players after vaulting.
  5. Immortal boss in the starting town.
  6. Being able to kill teammates at the basecamp after throwing a grenade and disconnecting.
  7. Ammo issues after reconnecting.
  8. Problems with disappearing bodies and looting them.

Hopefully, today’s update will not introduce new technical issues, as this sometimes happen after big patches.

Once you are in the game, you may want to check out our Interactive map. It contains many useful information.
