Hades Experiences Renaissance on Steam
Pre-orders of Cyberpunk 2077 have once again taken first place in the Steam bestseller list. Hades also did very well, now on the wave of dicsounts and recent awards.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch only on December 10, but this did not prevent the game's pre-orders from taking the first place among Steam's biggest hits (according to revenue) for the second week in a row. This is all the more impressive as last Wednesday's autumn sale started on the website. Gamers used this special offer to purchase Phasmophobia and Hades. It is worth noting the success of the latter, which was influenced not only by the discount but probably also by the fact that the title won the most nominations on this year's The Game Awards 2020, as well as received two Golden Joystick statuettes (for the critics' choice and best indie game)
Promptly, Hades is currently experiencing a renaissance. Yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day, 28.4 thousand people were playing the game on Steam simultaneously. By comparison, the week before, it was 19,000.
Football Manager 2021, which made its debut on the list at number three, also had a successful launch. The game was already selling well in pre-order, as it allowed for participation in beta-tests.
Many Steam users also used the autumn sale to supplement their libraries with hits such as Doom Eternal, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Death Stranding.
