Meet another interesting character in Jagged Alliance 3 – Larry. He is a mercenary, who can be recruited through the quest rather than Browser menu. Pierre is a good example of such person, too. In this guide we will tell you how to recruit this soldier and how to cure him.

JA3 – How to recruit Larry

  1. Firstly, you have to get Metaviron. This medicine is essential to Larry’s recovery. We have covered this topic in the separate linked article, so feel free to read it.
  2. Secondly, go to the F7 sector (Camp Savane). There is a lot of enemies there. Of course, you may complete side activities and lower the number of defenders. Look around the camp. Additionally, you may find many mines in the west of the map. Take someone with good Explosives skill with you or you will be in trouble. After you clear this location, you will be able to talk with Larry.
  3. The merc is not feeling well. You can pass a medical check to diagnose amnesia. If you have Metaviron (mentioned already in the first point), you may cure him with this.
  4. Congratulations, you have a new merc. However, it is not the end. You may help him even further. Go to the Sanatorium (Hospital icon) in the H12 Sector. Start an Operation to cure him. It will not take a lot of time and it will make this character much more useful. He will get a great boost to stats Agility, Dexterity. Wisdom and Marksmanship. He will loose only some Health in exchange.
