Do you like mechs and farming games? There is a title which connects these two genres. Lightyear Frontier offers elements from both worlds – sitting in a big, deadly robot and building your own farm. An important part of the gameplay is exploring the mysterious planet which surrounds you. Some players wonder how to unlock the whole map. We will tell you everything about it.

How to Unlock Map in Lightyear Frontier

At the beginning of the game, your map is unlocked only partially, namely – the first region. The rest of them is completely dark. However, you can change it, but you will need to put a little bit of effort into that.

After entering new regions, you will be greeted with a new task – to restore newly discovered areas. It means that you need to eliminate whatever pollutes the neighborhood. For example, there is a strange substance on the ground in Pine Hights, which you have to clean with water, but in Edge Cliffs, you need to gather strange weeds.

Regardless of the contamination source, after eliminating it, you will be granted a map of the region. It is quite fair, as you will have to walk through a great part of the new area to remove harmful substances and learn a little bit about the world in the process.
