Humanity, Lemmings on Steroids, is the Black Horse of State of Play
Yesterday's State of Play show was packed with several interesting announcements. One of them is Humanity. The developers of this unusual game also confirmed the release date.
The stars of yesterday's State of Play were Suicide Squad, Resident Evil 4 and Baldur's Gate 3. However, the first show of games heading to PlayStation consoles this year featured several smaller, but also interesting titles. Among them was Humanity, an arcade-logic game from Enhance Games, creators of the excellent Tetris Effect and Rez Infinite. Below you can check out the published trailer.
Humanity - what kind of game is it?
The title will combine a logic challenge with an arcade approach. As we read in the story description, trapped at the end of the world, people have lost their souls, reason and sense of purpose. Players will take on the role of a shiba inu dog and guide humanity through a series of abstract and surreal trials. Each stage is expected to offer puzzles, traps and obstacles. The game will feature a story mode, encompassing 90 levels, full of frantic challenges, bosses and a wide variety of cosmetic items to unlock (for more information about the game, visit this link).
Humanity will debut in May on PS5, PS VR2 (optional), PS4, PS VR (optional) and PC.. Those interested in the title can check out its demo, which is now available on PlayStation and Steam.
