„I Think I’m Just So Used to It”. Angelina Jolie's Classy Response to the Producer, Who Called Her a „Minimally Talented Spoiled Brat”
The Hollywood producer did not spare harsh words for Angelina Jolie, to which she reacted neutrally, admitting that similar attacks are not new to her.
In 2011, Angelina Jolie was involved in Brian Helgeland's later-canceled project, a film about Cleopatra that was to be directed by David Fincher. And his involvement proved to be a problematic issue, according to emails exchanged between Amy Pascal, former co-chairman of Sony Pictures, and producer Scott Rudin.
The emails leaked in 2014, and through it the world learned that Rudin was not happy that Jolie wanted Fincher in Cleopatra, because he wanted the director to get behind the camera of a film about Steven Jobs. During a conversation on the subject, Rudin called Angelina Jolie “a minimally talented spoiled brat.”
During an interview with The New York Times, the actress was asked about the producer's words, to which she responded with class, assuring that it did not affect her at all. Jolie admitted that she is used to personal attacks, so she was not concerned about Rudin's words, which she did not go into. As she confessed, she didn't even read the emails, someone only mentioned their contents to her.

The actress did not comment more widely on the matter. As for Cleopatra, on the other hand, the project was not finalized. Fincher also did not get behind the camera of the film about Steven Jobs, which was directed by Danny Boyle.
Problems on sets are not that uncommon, as are conflicts between actors and producers. Julia Roberts was also implicated in one, and it involved Shakespeare in Love, which was not made until several years later with a different team.
