Halls of Torment is a bullet hell action RPG game. It is set in a dark fantasy universe. Players take a role of an adventurer that has to fight against various opponents and survive wave after wave until they face one of the bosses. There are many enemies to deal with on each run. Without good preparation and equipment, this will be a difficult task. Fortunately, there is an item stash, that is really helpful in your adventures. In this guide, we will explain how it works.

How to unlock Item Stash in Halls of Torment

You must first complete the quest known as "The Wellkeeper" in order to be able to use the Item Stash. You have to rescue Wellkeeper - a friendly NPC - who allows players to unlock items and store them in their Item Stash for later runs. Unfortunately, he charges a gold fee for this service.

After defeating the Imp Chieftan in the Haunted Caverns, you unlock the second area – Ember Grounds. The Wellkeeper will be trapped in the cage. What you have to do is go toward the key marker, retrieve it, and free the NPC.

How to stash and retrieve items in Halls of Torment

If you finished the quest “The Wellkeeper”, during the run, players will be able to drop items into the well. They will be available for purchase from the Wellkeeper. Once you have bought an item, it will be stored in the Item Stash, which is represented by a golden chest. To retrieve it, simply interact with it.

You can use freely items that are placed in the Item Stash. You don’t need to worry about losing them if your run is unsuccessful. They are yours for eternity.
