Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Delayed. Czech RPG Received Exact Release Date
The delayed release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 may worry Henry fans, but at least we know exactly when the game will launch.
The Embracer Group revealed more than just its financial results for the first fiscal quarter. As part of the company's report, we also learned about the delay in the premiere of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
According to new info, the sequel to the Czech RPG about the adventures of Henry will be released on February 11, 2025. The game, as we already know, will hit PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Until now, we were unaware of the precise release date, but Warhorse studio has stated its intention to launch the sequel by the end of 2024. It seems that the developer needs some extra time to polish the project or optimize it.
The Embracer Group announcement doesn't provide official reasons for postponing the premiere to next year. From another source, we know that the actor playing Henry has already recorded all the dialogue lines, so at least this element can be crossed off the list of official reasons for the delay.
Let's remind that the Warhorse Studios team will appear at gamescom in 2024. The event in Cologne will feature over 20 minutes of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 material and event attendees will have the chance to play a demo. The game will also be in the hands of journalists, so expect articles describing impressions of the current version of the second KCD.
