Mirthwood is an upcoming life sim where you take care of your homestead and discover various secrets of the beautiful and dangerous world. Grow crops, fight and even romance in this hand-drown universe. The game will be released on 11th September and is developed by Bad Ridge Games. The title will be initially available on PC through Steam. What about other platforms, though? Will we be able to play it on consoles? Let’s find out.

Mirthwood – Console (Switch, Xbox, PS5, PS4) Release

As in the case of many games without AAA budget, Mirthwood initially will be available on Steam exclusively. Other platforms will have to wait. However, developers are open to more devices. According to their posts on Reddit, they are quite interested in the possibility of creating ports to other platforms, especially Switch. However, as it is often in these kind of situations, a lot will depend on the popularity of the game on Valve’s platform. If the title sells well and the demand for console versions is high enough, we can be almost certain that Switch, PlayStation and Xbox ports will appear. However, be prepared that it will take a long time (if it happens at all).

The game is not released yet, but if you are interested, you can check out the demo on Steam, which will allow you to taste this unique world. Other than that, we need to wait for full release and hope that the title will become popular enough.
