Morrowind Rebirth - what's new in version 6.2
Release 6.2 brings a ton of new features. We have listed the most important ones below.
- New weapons and the option to buy tents have been added.
- Altars in many dungeons have been diversified.
- Ordinary inhabitants of the world have stopped reacting with aggression to any undesirable behavior of the player. They now do so only when a very serious crime is committed.
- NPCs have gained improved paths for moving around cities.
- An NPC appeared in the Tel Naga tower offering fast travel to Tel Aruhn, Tel Branor and Tel Mora.
- The scripts of many guilds (including thieves and smugglers) have been improved so that they are reluctant to talk to our character before we gain their trust.
- Many interiors and other locations have been beautified. A sizable set of new models for many characters has also been introduced.
- Traditionally, there were also fixes for dozens of bugs, causing, for example, the possibility of the player getting stuck in a table in one of the houses in Balmor.
Morrowind Rebirth is a project that aims to improve and expand the game in general. In practice, it is an unofficial remaster that improves graphics and gameplay, as well as introduces a ton of new elements. One of the main attractions of the modification is a thoroughly redesigned world map, which is more realistic and more densely populated with objects and characters.
Finally, it should be added that in order to play with the mod you will need the game with all the DLCs. In addition, it is required to have Morrowind Code Patch, unless you are using OpenMW.
