The announcement of GTA 6 is a matter of days. That's according to Jason Schreier - usually a well-informed journalist for the Bloomberg agency. The announcement will precede the release of the first trailer, scheduled for next month.

Sam Houser of Rockstar Games has officially confirmed in a fresh announcement, published on the studio's official website, that in early December we will see the first trailer for the new Grand Theft Auto game. According to Schreier's reports, this will be part of the studio's 25th anniversary celebration. We are waiting for more information, including the exact date of the trailer's debut.

There are many indications that we are one step closer to one of the most anticipated industry events of recent years - Jason Schreier claims that later this week Rockstar Games will officially announce Grand Theft Auto 6, the latest installment in the action game series, whose previous installment, GTA 5, sold more than 185 million copies.
According to information provided to Schreier by anonymous informants, it appears that the first trailer for the game will be revealed in December, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of Rockstar Games (the company was established in December 1998). A Rockstar Games press officer declined to comment on the reports, so we are left waiting for developments.
Last year's leaked information and materials from GTA 6 certainly put a wrench in Rockstar Games' efforts. Despite its scale, Rockstar Games was not going to react and apparently told us to wait for official confirmation of the numerous rumors over a year. If Schreier's reports turn out to be accurate - and they usually are - then fans of GTA and beyond are in for an incredibly hectic 2023.
Recently Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, owner of Rockstar Games, suggested between the lines, that "the Six" will be released in fiscal 2025 (the period from April 2024 to March 2025) and will have a significant impact on achieving revenues of $8 billion.
