Songs of Conquest Delayed; Novelties Announced
We learned the roadmap for Songs of Conquest's near future. The developers shared information about the game's release date and the Steam Deck version, among other things.
In recent news on Songs of Conquest, the spiritual heir to the first installments of Heroes of Might and Magic, has went somewhat off the radar, and statistics from Steam database show that a maximum of just over 200 people played the game at the same time over the past 24 hours.
However, it turns out that the developers have reason to be happy, because, as they announced, nearly half a million players have added the title to their wish list on Steam. The developer shared information on the future of the game and announced that the full version will debut later than originally planned. We also learned the approximate release date on Steam Deck.
The developers announced the improvements that will be implemented in the game, as well as changes in the release date of the full version and the debut on Steam Deck.
- Initially, the release of version 1.0 was planned for the third quarter of this year, but the the developers decided to move the debut to next year, to make sure the game will be complete.
- In the near future, multiplayer connectivity will be improved, as well as artificial intelligence.
- In the fourth quarter of the year, it will be possible to play Songs of Conquest on Steam Deck.
