Steam Announces Sale and Event Calendar for Q2 2024
We've already learned the dates of all the festivals and other major events that will take place during the first half of 2024 on Steam. The platform has announced the dates of six more events scheduled for the second quarter.
In September, Valve revealed the dates of festivals and sales on Steam that will take place during the first three months of 2024. Now, in turn, we have learned when other events, planned by the giant for the entire first half of the coming year, will begin (the platform announces the dates of its sales in advance so that game publishers can prepare for them).
If you want to know the details of the recently revealed events (for January-March), you should read our previous news on this topic. Here we will focus only on the newly announced dates (April, May and June).
Below you will find the schedule made available by Steam along with brief descriptions included by the platform (except for the first two and the last one).
Steam - events in Q2 2024
FPS Fest
Date: April 15-22, 2024.
As the name suggests, during this time fans of first-person shooters will celebrate.
Agriculture Fest
Date: April 29-May 6, 2024.
Here, too, no surprises. The festival will be dedicated to games focusing on farming.
Endless Replayability Fest
Date: May 13-20, 2024.
"Endless Replayability Fest fits any game that has been completed once, so.... now it's time to do it hundreds more - no, rather, thousands of times - because every playthrough is different!"
Open World Survival Crafting Fest
Date: May 27 - June 3, 2024.
"Open World Survival Crafting Fest revolves around games where you start with nothing and eventually end up... well, perhaps still with nothing. However, if you survive long enough, you may find yourself in a nicely decorated base. But the threat of it all turning to nothing never leaves you for a moment, and is a key theme of this fest."
Next Fest
Date: June 10-17, 2024.
"Steam Next Fest is a celebration where fans can try out demos, watch live broadcasts and interact with developers, as well as learn more about upcoming games."
Summer sale
Date: June 27-July 11, 2024.
One of four major seasonal sales (the Spring Sale will be held earlier, in March).
