Want to make Simona an unstoppable tanky mage? Our Sword of Convallaria (SoC) build guide will show you how to unlock her full potential.
Simona, a recent addition to Sword of Convallaria, is a formidable force to be reckoned with. Her trait boosts her attack and defense, and at the start of each turn, she gains the Armor of Ice buff, which has a 2-turn cooldown. Best Skills for Simona Build in Sword of Convallaria
If you’re looking for a powerful magical AoE damage dealer, Simona is a perfect fit. Here are her best skills that you should choose for each rank that matches perfectly with her trait:
- RK1 – Icy Blast is a great AoE magical attack that inflicts movement and speed debuffs for 2 turns and knocks the targets back by 2 tiles.
- RK3 – Ice Assault is an instant magical attack that allows you to use another skill immediately afterward. Simona charges towards a selected tile within a cross-shaped range, attacking all enemies along the path and gaining the Warrior of Frost status for 2 turns. This status reduces incoming damage and increases her movement range by 1 tile when standing on frosty tiles, which she generates a lot with her icy abilities
- RK5 – Iceshards is a reaction skill I absolutely adore! After her Armor of Ice is shattered, Simona unleashes a barrage of icicles that deals magical damage to all enemies within 2 tiles and inflict a movement debuff for 1 turn.
- RK7 – Flash Freezing is a single-target magical attack that weakens opponents’ movement for 2 turns. If the target is already affected by this debuff, Simona additionally inflicts the Frozen status for 2 turns. While Frozen, enemies cannot move or take actions and can only be freed by taking fire damage. Simona cripple opponents’ movement constantly with her skills, so you can effectively freeze half of your enemies using Flash Freezing.
- RK9 – Ice-made Sword enhances Simona's basic attack, dealing a devastating amount of magical damage. If she attacks enemies with a movement debuff or those standing on Frosty tiles, the damage is increased by 30%. Additionally, while actively using her skills, the surrounding area will be filled with frozen ground, slowing enemies.
- RK11 – This is a tough choice. If you lack a reliable healer, Will to Survive can be a lifesaver, recovering 2 energy points and half of Simona's HP if she's dying at the start of the turn. This passive skill has just 2 turns cooldown. However, Winter Doomsday is her most powerful AoE ability. It deals Ice damage to all enemies within a 5x3 area and summons an Ice Wall in the center tiles, freezing anyone standing on it for 1 turn.
