The developers of The Banner Saga have announced a colorful and mysterious new game. Here's Towerborne.
Known for The Banner Saga, studio Stoic presented its latest work - Towerborne. The game was announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 with a trailer that showed its basic story and gameplay elements.
During the presentation, not many details about the game were revealed. However, it is known that Towerborne is set to debut in 2024 on PC and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. It is also expected to simultaneously appear on Xbox/PC Game Pass.
At this point, we know that Towerborne will take us to a fantasy world, in which, after the collapse of civilization, people set out for a new - as picturesque as it is dangerous - land in search of the source of the evil that shook their previous lives.
The gameplay is to be based on cooperative exploration and combat against a variety of monsters inhabiting an idyll unaffected by human intervention.
The time remaining until the release suggests that work on the game is still at a relatively early stage. It can be expected that Stoic will only share more information in future months.
