We Have To Wait More For New Fable
Despite rumors, Microsoft did not announce a new installment of the Fable series on this year's E3 Expo 2019. As the company's representative confirmed, we will have to wait for the biggest announcements until next year.
Many fans of the Fable series, who were not spoiled in recent years by Microsoft, counted on some announcement of a new game, preferrably the continuation of Fable III, released in 2010. Unfortunately, there was not a single mention about the series durgin Microsoft's E3 conference, despite having been as hyped in the days of Xbox 360 as franchises like Halo and Forza. In a conversation with Eurogamer, the head of Xbox Games Studios poured some hope into the hearts of fans, confirming that the revealed announcements constitute only a percentage of what developers are currently working on. Although he did not want to refer directly to Fable, he confirmed that this year Microsoft wanted to shed light on new projects of recently bought studios such as Annapurna Interactive, Double Fine and Ninja Theory. New works of the company's internal development teams will be presented at a later date, closer to the debut of the next-gen Xbox Scarlett.
Just a few days ago we wrote about Fable 4 rumored to be a classic action RPG, allowing you to freely switch between TPP and FPP view. The action is set in Albion, a few thousand years after the events presented in the previous titles from the series. We're gonna have fun in a large sandbox world full of surprises and difficult decisions that will affect the player's appearance and direction of development. The title will enable us to build cities. This aspect of the game will have a big impact on the plot - a lack of success in this area will lead to a bad ending of the story. The title will also have an extensive multiplayer mode.
