i just reread it and if it weren't the audiobook i wouldn't have finished... wish there was a book about charlie though

i love how you’re rereading all the middle school classics.
I just finished it today, it was my first time reading it actually, but i was a die hard fan back then.I cringed so hard, specially on the second half of the book, it's so lovey dovey and exagerated, it makes me sick.
But i actually didn't disliked it, it was fun
It was so awful, every chapter or so I needed to put it down to drink a glass of wine and then continue😂
Me giving it five stars even though my years of education and matured reading tastes were all screaming at me that it was a pile of crap
also read this at the age of around 12 and always wanted to give it a reread but I’m not really sure anymore since this would probably end up in a non stop eye rolling
I have such memories of this one...Memories of hiding from a slumber party in my friend's bedroom because I was scared of Other Kids, and this was the only book in the room.
Great memories.

Hilarious! Not so much a review but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless! I've never read the series because it came out after my frontal lobe was fully developed (i.e. I simply refused) but love The Host by the same author (supposedly her first "adult novel") - I've read that one almost every summer since discovering it.Thanks for the laugh!!

It's like one of those books where if you turn your brain off and ignore all the cringe and second hand embarrassment you get from it it's actually pretty good, and you know, sometimes I wanna read something cheesy and shut my brain down
