I just finished it today, it was my first time reading it actually, but i was a die hard fan back then.
I cringed so hard, specially on the second half of the book, it's so lovey dovey and exagerated, it makes me sick.
But i actually didn't disliked it, it was fun

It was so awful, every chapter or so I needed to put it down to drink a glass of wine and then continue😂
Me giving it five stars even though my years of education and matured reading tastes were all screaming at me that it was a pile of crap
also read this at the age of around 12 and always wanted to give it a reread but I’m not really sure anymore since this would probably end up in a non stop eye rolling
I have such memories of this one...
Memories of hiding from a slumber party in my friend's bedroom because I was scared of Other Kids, and this was the only book in the room.
Great memories.

Hilarious! Not so much a review but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless! I've never read the series because it came out after my frontal lobe was fully developed (i.e. I simply refused) but love The Host by the same author (supposedly her first "adult novel") - I've read that one almost every summer since discovering it.
Thanks for the laugh!!
