About DDoS attack countermeasures of "Vertex AI Search"

We're integrating Vertex AI Search into our app.

This is our first experience and we cannot understand whether the service is protected against DoS/DDoS attacks.

Could you please help sort this out to avoid the risk of such redundant requests leading to high usage bills?

This comprehensive security solution leverages Google's extensive global network and distributed infrastructure to effectively detect and absorb various types of attacks, including DDoS.

Google Cloud Armor operates by implementing user-configurable security policies at the edge of Google's network, filtering incoming traffic before it reaches your infrastructure. This proactive approach ensures that your Vertex AI Search service remains resilient against malicious traffic, minimizing the risk of performance degradation and mitigating potential cost increases associated with excessive resource utilization caused by DDoS attacks.
