Share Looker content with external whitelisted domain

We are attempting to share all Looker content with an external whitelisted domain. We can successfully share individual reports with external users in the whitelisted domain however this is not convenient or feasible. We have followed guidance in Google Articles however we still can only share each item individually.

Do you have any guidance around sharing all Looker content at once? Thank you.

You should be able to do this with IAM, you can add an entire domain as the New Principal to cover an entire domain. I've done this with other Cloud services, not Looker, but it should be entirely possible. Here's a screenshot of how it would look in IAM.

@ripeart In addition, IAM (Identity Access Management) lets you adopt the security principle of least privilege, so it’s best practice to only grant the necessary access to your resources.

There are two different kinds of roles that grant permissions for Looker:

  • Looker IAM roles: These are user’s capabilities within the Google Cloud console with regard to Looker
  • Looker roles: These kinds of roles govern what users can do once they sign in to a Looker instance.

Note: When Looker roles are assigned within a Looker instance, they override the default Looker roles that are granted by IAM.

I hope the above information is helpful.
