The Way Home Spoilers: While there is no definite air date regarding the season 3 premier of The Way Home, it seems that doesn’t prevent one of the shows stars from posting insta pics at the infamous pond!

It’s been a hot minute since The Way Home’s Season 2 finale hit; however, with Season 3 on the horizon, it’s hard for fans to refrain from speculating on what storylines could unravel.
There was a major time-travel reveal with Colton Landry’s (Jefferson Brown) past, so audiences are certainly interested in taking a deeper dive into this story next season.
Of course, there’s also the possibility of a major storyline centering around Jacob Landry (Remy Smith), who has returned to the present time. Del Landry (Andie MacDowell) has dealt with so much trauma, heartache, and turmoil over losing her son.
It’s hard not to think that she’ll potentially take center stage in Season 3, if and when she and Jacob are finally reunited.

The first word that comes to mind when most people think of Hallmark Channel is Christmas. The network has made its name (and a lot of its money) on its annual holiday fare that guarantees light-hearted, family-friendly fun, whether you are watching ironically or not. The patented formula of its Christmas movies is a comfort for the droves that watch every year, but Hallmark frequently gets overlooked when it puts down the tinsel and Santa cookie cutters.
This should be the year that changes, because Hallmark has one of the best shows on TV. The multi-generational time-travel drama “The Way Home” is the brainchild of Marly Reed and mother-daughter showrunners Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke. It’s one of Hallmark’s biggest hits —and with good reason.

As The Way Home fans brace themselves for the show’s Season 3 premiere, which will likely unravel sometime in 2025, there are so many storylines to get excited about.
One major one is the aftermath of the Colton Landry (Jefferson Brown) reveal, and another potential one is getting to see what will unfold now that Jacob Landry (Remy Smith) has returned to the present time.
For so many years Del Landry (Andie MacDowell) was put through heartache, turmoil, and trauma over the loss of her son. How will she react if and when she finally has him back?

So far across the two seasons of The Way Home (which has already been renewed for a third), the pond that allows the Landrys—Kat (Chyler Leigh), Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), Jacob (Spencer MacPherson), and now Colton (Jefferson Brown) so far—to travel through time has only taken them to their pasts and presents. But could it ever take someone to their future? “I don’t think anything is ruled out ever with our show,” executive producer Heather Conkie tells TV Insider. “I think the minute you get in a writers’ room and have an amazing pitch, you can run with anything. But I do think at the end of the day, whatever rules we state about the pond, whether it’s through Elliot [Evan Williams] or through what Kat says or Alice, those are the rules and we will never stray from them because we want to keep the integrity of that...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for The Way Home Season 2 finale “Bring Me to Life.”] Season finales are usually one surprise after another and include big moments for relationships, and with its latest, The Way Home delivers both. It certainly sets Kat (Chyler Leigh) and Elliot (Evan Williams) on a hopeful path going forward. But before getting the two to that place, Kat travels back to 1814 to say goodbye to Thomas (Kris Holden-Ried) after finding out he’s about to be killed. She blames herself, but he refuses to let her, and they kiss before she leaves—and thinks he’s killed before finding out he was saved by armor. Then, in the present, Elliot tells Kat that he time-traveled with Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) and got his five minutes with Colton (Jefferson Brown), so now he understands what she’s gone through, having to stop herself from trying to change the past. “I want you to choose me,...

The season finale picks up just after Kat realizes that Thomas Coyle (Kris Holden-Ried) was likely executed in 1814. She decides to travel back in time to say goodbye and perhaps prevent his death (even though she knows from experience that trying to change the past is futile).
Kat encounters Thomas on the beach. He tells her he’s sacrificed himself to save Jacob. He gives her some coins and then they share a passionate kiss that’s sure to satisfy Kat-Thomas shippers.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for The Way Home Season 2 finale “Bring Me to Life.”] It’s one shock after another, as The Way Home wraps its second season. And let’s just say, we’re really glad it’s already been renewed for a third. Just as Kat’s (Chyler Leigh) mourning Thomas (Kris Holden-Ried), Jacob (Spencer Macoherson) surprises her by popping out of the pond. He’s come home, and he even has some good news: Thomas is alive, thanks to armor he had on when he was shot! But the present scenes end before he steps inside to reunite with their mother, Del (Andie MacDowell) and meet Kat’s daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), because then we go back to the past—and see that someone else has been time-traveling: Colton (Jefferson Brown)! Yes, Kat and Jacob’s father went back in time to watch himself with a young Jacob before his son’s...

Spoiler Alert: This post contains spoilers from “Bring Me to Life,” the Season 2 finale of Hallmark’s “The Way Home,” which streams on Peacock and Hallmark Movies Now.
“The Way Home” added another jaw-dropping twist in the Season 2 finale, “Bring Me to Life,” which aired Sunday night on Hallmark. Jacob (Spencer MacPherson) returned home to the present day, bringing Kat’s (Chyler Leigh) Season 2 quest to a close — but that wasn’t the most shocking moment of the finale. After Kat declared, “I wish Dad was here to see this,” to her little brother, the show moved to a flashback of a very young Colton in period clothing talking to an old woman about how it wasn’t his time to go in the pond. Another flashback revealed that it was actually adult Colton (Jefferson Brown) standing in the bushes watching himself with a young Jacob (Remy Smith) at the...

Time travel is a tricky thing. In The Way Home’s first season, Kat, Alice, and Elliot thought they had figured out some of the pond’s rules, including that you couldn’t change the past and that it would always send you where you needed to go. But it turns out the pond still has plenty of secrets, as we’re beginning to discover in season 2 of the Hallmark Channel series. In episode 2, “Hanging By a Moment,” Kat and Alice go on separate journeys, while Del and Elliot face their own challenges in the present.

At first glance, The Way Home was an off-brand original series for Hallmark, thanks to time travel being utilized to tell a multi-generational story.
However, the series is synonymous with the heartwarming programming at the heart of Hallmark's schedule.
With The Way Home Season 2 in the works, TV Fanatic has rounded up everything there is to know about the hit series' upcoming season.
The Way Home Season 2 Renewal Status
Hallmark officially picked up The Way Home Season 2 in March 2023, revealing that the show had been a winner in the TV ratings in its Sunday night timeslot.
Even more impressive is that it beat out the likes of The Real Housewives of Potomac, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, and Home Town in key demographics.
The Way Home Season 1 was also the No. 1 most-watched program on Sundays among households, P2+, W18+, and P18+ on a L+Sd basis.

What a rollercoaster. Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home went out with a bang on March 26. The season 1 finale answered the big question that’s been hanging over all the episodes of the time-travel drama: What happened to Jacob? (Read more about that big reveal.) But the episode also cleared up questions about the identity of the mystery woman at Colton’s funeral and who sent the letter that drew Kat home to Port Haven. Plus, Elliot made a choice that Kat found difficult to understand.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for The Way Home Season 1 finale “Not All Who Wander Are Lost.”] The first season of the time-traveling The Way Home answered some of our burning questions, namely, what happened to Jacob (Remy Smith) and Colton (Jefferson Brown). But in doing so, that left us with some other threads to unravel. For example, did Colton recognize his daughter as an adult when Kat (Chyler Leigh) was there when he died? What exactly does it mean for Jacob that he’s been time traveling? Executive producers Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, and Marly Reed answer those burning questions (and more) about Season 1 and hint at what’s ahead. That moment of Colton seemingly recognizing Kat as he died — did he really, or was he just seeing his daughter, like someone thinks they see a loved one when they’re dying? Alexandra Clarke: We will never tell. Marly Reed: That one we’re taking...

Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home has raised plenty of questions heading into its season finale on March 26. From the mystery of what happened to Jacob to the overarching question of whether it’s possible to change the past, the time-travel series isn’t afraid to grapple with some big issues. The show also has yet to reveal exactly how many people know that time travel is possible. While Kat, Alice, and Elliot are all aware the pond is a portal to the past, it’s not yet clear if Del is in on the secret. But Andie MacDowell thinks she probably has her suspicions.

We were not ready for that big reveal. Viewers finally learned the full story behind Colton’s fatal car accident in the March 19 installment of Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home. The devastating moment came at the end of an episode that also explored Colton’s attempts to come to terms with the disappearance of his son Jacob. Actor Jefferson Brown, who plays the character, said he was “proud” to be part of the show and grateful for the way Hallmark handled Colton’s storyline.

Being a teen is hard enough. But try being a teen in two different timelines. That’s the problem Alice is dealing with in The Way Home. So far, we’re only two episodes into Hallmark Channel’s new series The Way Home, but the show has already set up a number of intriguing mysteries for viewers to mull over. The biggest has to do with what happened to Jacob. We know that Kat’s younger brother isn’t around in the present day, and his absence is still an open wound for the Landry women. The circumstances surrounding Jacob’s disappearance are murky, but one theory could explain why he vanished in 1999 – and how he might find his way back into Del, Kat, and Alice’s lives.

The Slasher franchise is evolving.
The latest chapter in the thrilling anthology is headed to Shudder, and we have our first deadly look.
Premiering August 12 on Shudder, Slasher: Flesh & Blood follows a wealthy but dysfunctional family that gathers for a reunion on a secluded island only to learn they’ll be pitted against one another in a cruel game of life and death, all while being stalked by a mysterious masked killer.
Nothing is what it seems, and no one is safe as the tension- and the body count- ratchets up.
As with the past installments of the series, Slasher: Flesh & Blood will combine elements of traditional murder mystery with the intense horror and bold kills that audiences have come to expect.
The trailer is perfect, showing a family invited to the island with the aim of winning deadly games to inherit the family fortune.
It's a compelling hook,...
