Jett Klyne
- Actor
Jett Klyne is fast becoming a name to watch in Hollywood. He began his career in 2009 as the face of Gerber baby food and hasn't looked back since. By the age of four, Jett had already transitioned to the big screen, appearing in Skyscraper alongside Dwayne Johnson, 13 Steps and by 10, he led the feature film Z for AMC, setting the stage for a bright future.
Jett's breakout moment came when he starred as Tommy Maximoff in Marvel Studios' Wandavision, playing opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. His performance as one of the MCU's youngest heroes resonated with audiences, quickly making him a fan favourite. He reprised the role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, directed by Sam Raimi, further demonstrating his ability to deliver nuanced, emotionally charged performances in blockbuster films and one the world's most beloved franchises.
In 2023, Jett took on his most challenging role yet in The Boy in the Woods, the film adaptation of the bestselling WWII memoir, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Playing Max, a young Jewish boy fighting to survive in the wilderness, Jett's performance received critical acclaim. The Guardian hailed it as "impressive" for its emotional depth, with others comparing his work to a young Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun. The CBC recently spotlighted Jett as one of Canada's rising stars, acknowledging his dynamic performances and career momentum. The film has already had its theatrical release and is set to hit the U.S. in late September 2024.
Jett's versatility extends to television, where he's appeared in hit series such as The X-Files, Supergirl, Supernatural, and Deadly Class. His work also includes supporting roles in Hallmark and Lifetime movies.
In 2022, Jett led Netflix's family adventure Phantom Pups and is set to return to the big screen in the upcoming horror film SHAMAN, starring alongside Vampire Diaries alums Daniel Gillies and Sara Canning.
Off-camera, Jett is just as dynamic-he's a rugby-playing, golf-loving, sports fanatic, and a sneaker-head with a serious Marvel obsession. He'd do just about anything to work alongside Robert Downey Jr., with dreams of one day stepping into the iconic role of Iron Man.
