American actor Kristopher Wente was born March 2nd, 1985 in Modesto, CA to Douglas and Kimberly Wente, the former a heavy truck parts salesperson and the latter a community theater director. Kris Taught School in Brooklyn. Appeared first in 2011, playing Paul Bratter in Barefoot in the Park for Director Johnny Peppers of Pull-Tight theater in Franklin, TN. Later professional roles include a zealous grad student in an adaptation of John Updike's novel Roger's Version, Carrasco in the Man of La Mancha, Clown #2 in the 39 Steps, and others.
TV credits include include brief character roles on AMC's Turn where played a playfully chiding British sailor, and Lodge 49 where he briefly played a hipster.
Movie roles opposite the likes of Louis Gossett Jr., Tommy Flannagin, Thomas Jane, and most recently: Tom Holland in 2021's Cherry. He lives in Santa Fe with his wife and children, and Merlin (dog).
