He is the middle of an older brother and a younger sister, the only actor in the family. The name Eugene was given from his great-grandfather Eugene Barry Walsh as a homage to his Irish ancestry. Training includes sword-fighting, horse-riding and charioteering. Impersonation, mimicry and voice over work are much loved pastimes of his and are the reasons, he says, that he got into acting.
