- Achim Hagenau and his farm neighbor Bärbel Ramsbächle have been in a happy marriage for five years now. What the former city doctor and current farmer Achim doesn't suspect: Bärbel has been worried about his health for some time. She is convinced that Achim's heart won't last much longer if he doesn't finally slow down. She is troubled by the constant conflict with her evil brother-in-law, the ox host, who is after her farm. That's why she has already secretly quit her job as a teacher to move to Stuttgart with Achim. He is deeply offended when he accidentally finds out about this plan. And so the couple slides into their first serious marital crisis. Because Achim also made his plans like this. He wants to transfer his own farm to the family of his "almost son-in-law" Boris. And he wants to transform Bärbel's estate into a sanctuary for old animals under his own leadership. He starts with his great aunt's two loyal Rottweilers, who were actually supposed to be put down and who from now on never leave his side. With his plans, however, Achim puts himself between all stools. The greedy ox farmer already saw Bärbel's farm as a lucrative trading point for cheap export cattle. Meanwhile, Achim's daughter Anna, an easy-going veterinarian, and his son Arnulf fear for their inheritance if Boris gets his father's farm - although on the other hand they are trying to emancipate themselves from their caring Pappa. Only Achim's youngest son, Achim junior, supports his father. So the big family reunion ends in a big family row. Only when the stressed Achim collapses at the wheel of his car a little later does the clan come to their senses.

- There is joyful excitement at the Freiburg Clinic: the renowned specialist Prof. Markus Gärtner has been hired as head of the newly planned heart research center. The single professor only has his work on his mind. The heart specialist only shows a little heart himself when it comes to his beloved son Tim. Unfortunately, Markus also alienates the extremely rich Mr. Hofmeister with his tactless manner, not knowing that he has the heart research center's most important sponsor in front of him. Without their financial support, the project cannot be realized. In order to appease the grumpy, humorous millionaire, Professor Weissing invites him to a luxurious wellness weekend. However, Hofmeister insists that Lina come with him, whom he has taken to his heart from the very first moment and, due to a misunderstanding, believes to be Gärtner's partner. Lina and Markus reluctantly take part in the game of hide-and-seek. The spicy fraud threatens to be exposed again and again. But the better the alleged couple gets to know each other over the course of the eventful weekend, the more genuine their mutual affection suddenly appears.
- After separating from her husband, the Berlin teacher Anna Wiegand turns her back on the big city to take over the management of the elementary school in an idyllic Black Forest village. This brings her closer to her daughter Caroline, who is studying in Freiburg and is now trying to benefit from her mother's cooking skills and washing machine. With a lot of enthusiasm, the dedicated teacher Anna wants to bring a breath of fresh air into the dusty everyday school life. But her unorthodox ideas offend her colleagues, who are skeptical about anything new. The stale school secretary Brigitte Schäufele in particular, not enthusiastic about the introduction of the computer, never misses an opportunity to use her good connections to the local hairdressing salon to spread wild rumors about the new director's strange teaching methods. Anna's meeting with her landlord, Count Alexander von Schönberg, doesn't go too smoothly either. When his snarling hound, her long-haired cat E.T. hunts for the nearest tree, Anna also extends her claws and shows the snooty aristocrat that she is not impressed by his charm and noble title. When she discovered that von Schönberg's daughter Lilly, of all people, had a reading disability that the smart girl had been able to cover up by learning by heart, the Count didn't believe a word the new teacher said. Together with other concerned parents, von Schönberg starts a signature campaign against the uncomfortable headmistress. When many parents then deregister their children, the school even faces the threat of closure. Luckily, the resourceful caretaker Janosch has a convincing argument against the closure. When the students form a spontaneous demo, the bad mood towards Anna changes. The lovingly staged Heimatfilm "Schöne Aussicht" offers a lot of comedic elements in addition to a lot of local color. Anica Dobra as the teacher and Heio von Stetten as the landowner play a dog-and-cat couple. The film was shot in the tranquil town of Münstertal in the southern Black Forest and also in Staufen, Freiburg and the surrounding area.

- When his ex-wife disappears without a trace during a trip in the Black Forest, a forensic scientist sets out to find her and comes across a remote village whose inhabitants have an extremely hostile attitude. A skeletonised woman's body is found whose DNA matches that of the disappeared woman; however, the dead woman died four years ago. It soon becomes clear that the inhabitants of the village are guarding a dark secret.
