Stingy René is warned that his staff might strike, but seeing the appointment book about empty, decides to save on wages but provoking them with an absurd list of measly cuts and restrictions, cheap or no longer provided material, almost no breaks, even bring your own water to flush. He gets the strike, except Kristof, but then clients turn up in droves, so he begs his staff back, but spender-bug wife Martha spills the beans so now they strike with demands. Meanwhile the cue of clients gets restless, including one René better hadn't insulted: the tax inspector. Sven's plan to get secretary Babs to accept a ride home, evens sabotaging her car, yields nothing but a slap in the face.
