Although the director Jorge Furtado is from Porto Alegre, none of the main actors and actresses were from the city. Lázaro Ramos is from Salvador. Luana Piovani is from São Paulo. Leandra Leal and Pedro Cardoso are from Rio de Janeiro. But only Lázaro Ramos and Luana Piovani made the "gaúcho" accent from Porto Alegre. Leandra Leal and Pedro Cardoso kept their "carioca" accent from Rio de Janeiro, which has an important role on the story.
