Forrest Gump (1994)
run forrest !!
Forrest gump is literally the definition of a warm hug. i always find myself coming back (& bawling) to this movie & always ALWAYS find something new & good about it that makes it worth the watch over and over again.
this movie is a mix of drama, violence, comedy, and romance and is probably one of the BEST movies out there! couldn't think of any other movie that could better execute a plot such as this.
tom hanks is always a treat to watch. every performance of his is absolutely brilliant and will always remain the heart and soul of the stories he is in.
Creed (2015)
wasn't a fan of boxing til rocky
I always get chills whenever i watch the rocky franchise even though i'm not into boxing; i've really enjoyed watching each film.
creed wasn't a disappointment to this franchise. it's such a beautiful movie with a new and modern style but still has the heart and soul of the previous rocky movies.
what i really like about this film is that, just like what they said in the film, they didn't let rocky cast a shadow on the young creed. he made a name for himself and let rocky guide him and craft him into who he became.
love the twist. always think they'd win the last fights. and THIS is what makes this franchise SO SO special. something other film series just don't understand.
acting, cinematography, production, and storytelling was amazing and i'm actually surprised. SYLVESTER STALLONE stays iconic forever and always.
Rocky (1976)
YO ADRIAN I DID IT
A MASTERPIECE. wish it were longer. everything about this movie is so iconic. all the other movies were built on nostalgia.
although i still enjoyed watching the rest of the film series, it has become predictable and lazy-written and all built from the first iconic movie. but i've got to say that not all good films have to be good to be good, you know? this film series is one of those films.
you know those little instances that make a not-so-good movie a great one? rocky has SO so many of those instances. especially in the story telling & dialogue.
I, Tonya (2017)
an ICON.
I've seen this film a million times already and i will continue to do so because this is a MASTERPIECE.
it is literally SO GOOD. you will never find anything wrong about this movie from the story telling to the dialogue to the plot and cinematography, EVERYTHING is just so beautiful to look at and listen to and feel. it's SO PERFECT! i love everything about this film.
margot robbie was SENSATIONAL and this will always be my favourite performance of hers. best actress nomination ROBBED. and sebastian stan's performance? a perfect complement to margot's and allison's. the just work so WELL together and the direction of the whole thing was just INSANE.
here we also get to see mckenna grace play young tonya (well, she is young character in everything so) and even in her few minutes of screentime, she gave a great and ICONIC performance as always.
the film starts off like a normal family with its ups and downs like any other wholesome american household but as harding's career is developed, this film that revolves around the family just gets better and BETTER.
and that triple axel scene? ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. everything about it is so amazing. from the editing to the production, BEAUTIFUL.
the ending broke me. it's not the best but it's still PRETTY DAMN GOOD. it will leave you with THAT feeling after watching a really good film & love how it always keeps coming back. 10/10. always.
The Good Place: Live Panel Discussion (2020)
Take it Sleazy
This final episode reminded me of how beautiful the show and these characters are. They've wrapped this story so perfectly and I couldn't think of a better way to end this show.
Am Blown away. Will miss this show to bits.
The Good Place (2016)
The Best Place
The final season proved that this show really is a beautiful one (and one of the best shows ever on TV).
Final episode is just crazy. Couldn't think of any other better way to end the show. <3 <3 <3
Take it sleazy xx
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Emotional Cinematic Experience
For me, Avengers: Endgame is honestly the greatest, most thrilling and epic film of the MCU, the battle scenes and performances shown were never done before in Marvel cinematic history and they will leave you with so much surprises!
11 years in the making and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It exceeded everyone's expectations and even the comic book nerd ones!
Go see it while you can because you will NEVER ever experience something like this in a movie theatre this breath-taking and shocking.
It also had such an amazing and satisfying wrap-ups to the major characters of the MCU. Couldn't ask for a better movie and a better way to end this hell-of-a journey.
