All About "Gen V"
IMDb breaks down "Gen V," the blood-soaked spinoff series of "The Boys" that goes back to school for a survival story that's a combination of 'X-Men: First Class,' 'The Hunger Games,' and 'Animal House.'
Set at Godolkin University, "Gen V" focuses on young superheroes, or "supes," fighting for their lives and to graduate from this deadly training ground.
The series fits between Seasons 3 and 4 of "The Boys," which means one thing ... character crossovers!
"Boys" regulars A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), Ashley Barrett (Colby Minifie), and Adam Bourke (P.J. Byrne) will all appear on "Gen V." The Deep (Chace Crawford) will also cross over, at least in puppet form.
New supes include Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) who can weaponize her own blood, Andre Anderson (Chance Perdomo), the son of a famous superhero with magnetic powers, Emma (Lizze Broadway), also known as Little Cricket for her ability to get super small, Jordan (Derek Luh and London Thor) who can change between male and female forms, and Luke AKA Golden Boy (Patrick Schwarzenegger), who can light his entire body on fire.
"Gen V" streams on Prime Video starting September 29, 2023.
