Allí contamos con un gran equipo repartido entre nuestra fábrica y delegados comerciales, así como familias ganaderas con las que colaboramos y socios logísticos y comerciales. En estos momentos tan duros, lo más esencial para nosotros ha sido cuidar y proteger a todos los que forman parte de la gran familia Danone en Valencia. También hemos querido estar al lado de las familias de las zonas más afectadas y desde el primer día estamos canalizando todas nuestras donaciones a través de Cruz Roja y Banco de Alimentos para aportar alimentos de primera necesidad como agua mineral natural, leche de fórmula para bebés y bebidas vegetales, atendiendo a las demandas que surgen en cada momento. In these difficult times, the most important thing for us has been to care for and protect all those who are part of the great Danone family in Valencia.   We have also wanted to be at the side of the families in the most affected areas and from day one we have been organizing all our donations through the Red Cross and the Food Bank to provide basic products such as natural mineral water, baby formula milk and plant based drinks, attending to the demands that arise at all times.   We follow the situation closely and are in constant contact with our teams, collaborators and organizations to continue helping in any way we can.   Our 💙 is with you, Valencia.

    At Danone, we recognize that informal caregivers are essential partners in our mission to bring health through food to as many people as possible! They are often the ones noticing health changes in their loved ones, the ones driving them to medical appointments, and the ones supporting with practical every-day tasks like eating and drinking. What we learn from them helps us meet the needs of those they care for and support better outcomes for millions. That’s why we recently partnered with Ipsos France to ask 1,600 informal caregivers in Europe about their experience of caring for their loved ones. Today especially, on International Day of Care and Support, we recognize their diverse experiences and their positive impact on the wellbeing of those they care for.     Dairy products are among the most nutrient-dense foods available contributing to healthy diets for billions of people worldwide. And the world will need more of it in the future. Yet, dairy farmers face significant challenges, from climate change to financial pressures. At the IDF World Dairy Summit 2024, I shared that our industry is at a point of inflexion and a collective effort is needed to drive systemic change. We must scale up collaboration and drive greater public-private investment. Because, while farmers produce 100% of our food, they only receive 4% of financing. We must create conditions that ensure the world continues to benefit from dairy protein in a sustainable and resilient way. The future of the dairy economy and food sovereignty depend on collective action! And there, farmers are the solution, not the problem.
