The University of Montana Western Rodeo Team hosted its 54th Annual Montana Western Rodeo Banquet last month. The rodeo banquet is the primary fundraising event for student scholarships, facilitating essential practice opportunities, offsetting travel expenses, covering hotel accommodations, and supporting the Montana Western College rodeo in the fall.
This year at the event, UMW Rodeo paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Benny and Rooster Reynolds, two of Dillon's most iconic rodeo heroes. Their significant impact has played a crucial role in shaping Dillon's rich rodeo heritage.

Do you have a no D!£%head policy?
Turns out it’s good for business.
Yesterday I had the privilege of listening to the Chair of the Welsh Rugby Union Richard Collier-Keywood talk eloquently about the important Welsh cultural asset he is now responsible for and the need for it to serve all stakeholders i.e. benefit society beyond the bottom line.
In business it’s known as CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) which emerged as a concept in the 1960s.
Back then it was seen as an altruistic means of doing more with a business than just making money, but it was assumed it would involve sacrificing profit to achieve it.
The growing evidence shows this is not the case.
Being environmentally responsible, inclusive and serving of all stakeholders (customers, employees, investors, the environment and wider society) builds a strong brand, customer engagement, profit and also investment opportunities.
The All Blacks have an NDH (No D!£%head) policy.
They clean their own dressing rooms, carry their own bags and essentially show humility, accountability and a recognition of all the stakeholders in their organisation.
For me, corporate social responsibility boils down to common sense, respect and humility.
It’s good to see those leading our national game going forward aspire to the same ethos.
And at a time of such high attrition in business in general, would it not be best to have a smart business model that ensures that everyone in the eco system is incentivised to see the venture succeed?
The Oregon ALA is setting sail aboard the Crystal Dolphin this July.
Please enjoy an evening with other Oregon Association of Legal Administrators members and our wonderful Business Partners while we sail along the Willamette River. Take in the view of the city from the river while the summer air sweeps us away. Refreshments will be plentiful and the company will be fantastic. The cruise boards at Caruthers Landing (110 SE Carurhers, Portland, OR 97214), at 5 pm, July 18. We depart at 5:30 pm.
This is a great opportunity to reconnect with other members and catch up with our Business Partners.

What are the Educational, Health, or Economic Benefits to these Players and their Families for that kids uncompensated participation in any additional “NON-SCHOLARSHIP” private third-party postseason football games that pay the Universities and the Conferences for the use of their free labor to put on these highly profitable Bowl events.
The answer is ZERO!
These additional 1-5 POSTSEASON games are also above the Players’ 12 game athletic scholarship agreement?
Our Proposal offers Major Benefits in all three Categories to the Players and their Families! Scholarship Football Players are owed Hundreds of Millions of dollars from this year’s Media contract that uses these Players’ Name, Image, and Likeness NIL without any equitable financial consideration to the Players or their Families!
This lost Money could have a major impact on these Players lives, the lives of their current and future family members for generations?
We do not support, or agree with the House vs NCAA Settlement or the current covert attempts to extend and expand this Antitrust exploitation of our young (mostly minority) FB & BB Players' labor that the US Supreme Court and Federal District Court have recently struck down as illegal and implausible.
