Far too many people know the heart-sinking feeling of a cancer diagnosis, and the hardships of treatment that come with it. Thanks to Bruce Ratner and Adam Bonislawski's book Early Detection, more people will also know about the opportunities to get ahead of cancer.
I read the book. It gives a great historical overview of how diagnostics have been vastly underfunded compared to therapeutics. And great examples of where a test made a huge difference (ie. pap smear). A good read overall. There are many tests out there today - but the false positives / negatives remain an issue for many.
Thank you. A book on Cancer Early Detection is undoubtedly timely and valuable, offering critical insights into how early screening can save lives. However, I strongly believe that equally, if not more important we need to emphasize cancer prevention. With an estimated 90 percent of cancers being preventable and only around 5 percent attributed to genetic factors, we must prioritize educating the public on lifestyle changes, environmental awareness, and risk reduction strategies. Prevention should be at the forefront of any conversation about cancer, as it holds the greatest potential to reduce the overall burden of this disease and empower individuals to take proactive steps towards their long-term health. Thanks again, Respectfully, Dr. Simin Saedi Wong, Senior Epidemiologist.
Thank you, Mr. Bloomberg for Championing this fight. You are a hero and you have always won every fight and you remain upright with fist and bound, you stay tight to every cause that you believe in. This is just another small task for you to overcome. It is always, mind over matter and with persistence, you will be the man that figures out how to end cancer and save billions of lives. Keep on with the fight and we are with you always, through thick and thin, we will remain slick and win, and our bodies can overcome sick and sin. Thank you, Mr. Bloomberg. Thanks for your philanthropic endeavors, always.
Very important- and, we need much greater effort put into reducing concentrations and use of known cancer-causing toxins in products and practices that saturate the air, water and soil we and all species rely on.
📌 How to Say the Right Thing to Clients and Land Jobs on Repeat 1. Know Them, know what they want, know what they are looking for. 2. Keep It Real: Use clear, straightforward words. Get to the point and keep it snappy. 3. Show Some Heart: Use empathetic terms. Show some emotions. They are humans, not machines. Phrases like "I get where you’re coming from" can really touch them at an emotional place. 4. Focus on the Solutions, Not the Problems: Don’t get stuck on the issues. Pivot the conversation to solutions and show how you can meet their needs. 5. Be transparent: If there’s a hiccup, be honest about it. Clients appreciate transparency, and it builds trust. 6. Always follow up: After your chat, follow up to make sure they feel heard and supported. It shows you’re committed to their satisfaction. Sending my love to every individual fighting cancer. Wishing them a quick recovery. Love this Great book. Thank you sir Mike Bloomberg for your good heart. ❤️

thank you for sharing Mr. Bloomberg. On a note personal note: my step mother was diagnosed with stage 4 in the summer of 1982...they said nothing could be done...they did something though...and each of the 3 times after that, when the cancer 'came back' as something new or in a different place, they did something else. Which she again beat. Myrtle passed away in 2006 AND not from Cancer. Knowledge is power!
Understanding the importance of early detection is crucial in the fight against cancer. This initiative truly makes a difference in spreading awareness and empowering individuals to take proactive steps.
