News: We often get asked questions about UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) numbers. There is a lot of misunderstanding about what a UTR is and what it isn’t. For example, did you know that having a UTR does not necessarily mean someone is self-employed? Read on to find out more about what a UTR does and doesn’t mean. https://lnkd.in/eqh-g8jb

Ever notice how 'CFBR (Commenting for Better Reach)' has become the new way to say, 'Hey, hiring managers, I’m here and totally available for evaluation'? 👀 It’s like an unspoken code, right? Forget the résumé, portfolio, or skills – the real trick is dropping that ‘CFBR’ to showcase how well you can comment! It’s almost like saying, 'You can totally discuss this job with me, but only if I get enough likes on my comment.' 😂 So next time you see CFBR, just remember: it's not just about reach – it's about showcasing those commenting skills too! 🎯 #JobHuntHumor #CommentForBetterReachOrAttention?"

Counteroffer is commonplace. Meaning, most people have heard of the phrase. But what does it represent to the acquisition process?? Counteroffer indicates an opportunity and a hurdle. The opportunity is represented as being the next step before reaching an agreement. The hurdle represents not reaching an agreement unless the Counteroffer is accepted. Perspective: When reviewing initial offers here are a few quick considerations... Price & Terms: price is the amount someone is willing to pay and terms are how the amount is going to be paid. Both are relevant and should be considered independently of each other. Timelines: are the timelines presented considered to be reasonable? For example, as a business owner who is actively "on market", it's not recommended to agree to a longer period of exclusivity than needed. Funding Source: how is the buyer planning to fund the purchase? The answer to this question should be considered when responding to the initial offer. As a business owner, this is where having the right intermediary in your corner can make a million dollar difference. Sometimes the service you pay for really comes down to objectivity.
The Capstone M&A Term of the Week is "Counteroffer". Every week, we feature a different M&A-related term, providing clear and easy-to-understand explanations. For all Capstone M&A Terms of the Week and additional educational resources, check out the link below: https://lnkd.in/gTsKT5Wp

Had a total blast discussing the myriad outside-of-the-box use cases I've explored over the years across Japan at the intersection of akiya and culture. Boxing gyms, hacker spaces, saunas, luxury renovations, and much more, with the right approach and resources, akiya can almost literally become just about anything you can dream of. #Japan #Akiya #RealEstate #Property #Lifestyles #RuralJapan #Inaka #Wellness #Fitness #HealthAndWellness #Health #AlternativeLifestyles #AlternativeInvestments
