FAYETTEVILLE — Alice Anne Walton of Bentonville and Joseph Thomas Proietti of Merced, Calif., were married on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Camp War Eagle in Rogers by the Rev. Arthur F. Fogartie.
The bride is the daughter of Lynne and Jim Walton of Bentonville.
The groom is the son of Melissa and Don Proietti of Merced, Calif.
The bride was escorted by her father, Jim Walton. She wore a silk chiffon strapless gown, featuring a split-front overskirt and handcrafted flower and beaded accents.
She carried a crescent bouquet of gardenias.
Amy von Diest Carlson served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Tracy Proietti, Katy Proietti, Miriam Imoberstag, Allyson Wettengel, Jana Rosenblatt and Jo Anne Phillips.
Chris Proietti served as best man.
Groomsmen were Steuart Walton, Tom Walton, James Walton, Toby Ernst, George Dingeldein and Drew Ernst.
Lukas Walton served as usher.
Rachel Penner, Ashley Penner and Zoe Walton served as flower girls; and Wyatt Philips served as ring bearer.
The reader was Allyson Wettengel.
Greeters were Kevin Penner and Drew Penner.
Music was provided by pianist Susan Drummond.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Beaver Lake near Rogers.
Following a wedding trip to Branson, Mo., the couple will live in Denver, Colo.
