UPDATED:

After all but selling out its Sept. 27 San Diego concert at Snapdragon Stadium when tickets went on sale Friday morning, Coldplay has added a second date at the same venue on Sept. 28.

The four-man English band on Friday also announced second shows at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Oct. 1, and BC Place in Vancouver, Sept. 23. The opening acts at all three venues will be H.E.R. and 070 Shake.

Tickets for all three of the newly added concerts will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices for the Sept. 28 Snapdragon Stadium concert are the same as for the band’s Sept. 27 Snapdragon date, with a range of $20 to $229.50 each, plus service fees.

The concerts are part of Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” world tour, which opens March 10 in Brazil. The North Amercian leg in the fall, as of now, includes only four cities: Seattle, Vancouver, San Diego and Pasadena, the last stop on the tour.
