Ava Marie

Ava Marie is meteorologist on "11 News Today" at WBAL-TV in Baltimore, Maryland, with more than a decade of experience forecasting in the Mid-Atlantic.

Ava is also passionate about science education and supports many science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) events in the community.

Ava is designated as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from the University of Kansas, with an emphasis in journalism.

Outside of work, Ava enjoys spending time outdoors exploring with her husband and two sons. She also looks forward to yearly trips back to her home state of Colorado, to backpack camp and climb 14,000-foot mountains (14ers).
