Marred by penalties, Packers trail the Vikings at halftime

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WMTV) - The Green Bay Packers trail the Minnesota Vikings 28-7 at half. This was the lowest-scoring half for the Packers this season.

At the end of the first quarter, the Packers had more penalties (5) than first downs (3.) They finished the half with seven penalties for 58 yards.

Jordan Love made his return from a sprained left MCL and was 12/24 for 118 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Jaire Alexander was inactive. In his absence, the Vikings had 136 receiving yards.

Packers wide receiver Christian Watson left the game with an ankle injury and was listed as questionable for return. He was injured on a play that ended in a Love interception.

Kicker Brayden Narveson was 0/2 in the first half. His missed right on both kicks, the first from 37 yards and the second from 49 yards. He has now missed a kick in three of the fourth games this year.
