AC Valhalla's Yule Fixed and Will Last Longer
Ubisoft has extended the Yule Feast event, which appeared in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla on Christmas Day, by three weeks. This is because players had problems joining it for a long time.
- Ubisoft released patch 1.4.1.2 for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, which fixes the Yule Feast event;
- Due to player experiencing trouble with the event, the decision was made that it would be extended by three weeks - until January 27.
On December 16, last year, Assassin' s Creed: Valhalla launched the periodic Yule Feast event accompanying Christmas. Just like at the turn of 2020 and 2021, during the event a lot of challenges appeared in Ravensthorpe, such as drinking competitions and archery contests, for the completion of which we'd receive Yule tokens used to purchase special equipment and decorative items. The whole thing was supposed to last until today, January 7. Unfortunately, from the beginning of the event players reported many problems with joining. Back in December Ubisoft's team assured that they are working on a solution to this issues. The appropriate patch, marked with the number 1.4.1.2, appeared yesterday.
By the way, company's representatives confirmed the earlier announcement that to compensate for all the confusion Yule Festival will last longer than initially planned - specifically, three weeks. It will therefore end on January 27.
More for You:
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that a periodic event in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla has had problems. For example, during the first Yule Festival, players complained about a bug whereby after participating in a drinking contest, the effect of getting drunk would appear out of nowhere after loading a save and last until we used quick travel. On the other hand, during the Ostara Festival it was not possible to decorate the settlement and consequently complete the quest related to this activity.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla launched in November 2020. The title is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The title will get another major DLC, Dawn of Ragnarok, in March.
