Ton of Action in New Resident Evil 4 Trailer; Demo Inbound
A new trailer for the Resident Evil 4 remake was shown during today's State of Play. It announces the presence of The Mercenaries mode.
Today's State of Play show featured a new trailer for the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4. Its leitmotif is the confrontation between Leon and Krauser - fans of the series will surely find a lot of nods here. The footage, featuring with brand new gameplay fragments and plenty of action, is available below.
An important piece of information that has been provided together with the release of the trailer is the one regarding the demo version of Resident Evil 4. It will be made available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 "in the near future." We have not received more details about the demo, but it is possible that it will include the first chapter of the game. You can read our initial impressions from playing this short section here.
In addition, it was revealed that the Resident Evil 4 remake will feature a mode well known to fans of the series, The Mercenaries. In the original, it was unlocked after completing the game, and the upcoming remake will receive it as free DLC upon release.
Remake of Resident Evil 4 is available for pre-order in two versions: Standard and Deluxe. The game will debut on March 24 on PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and PC.
