Category:Carnegie Medal in Literature winners

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

These writers have won the Carnegie Medal from the British Library Association or its successor CILIP, recognising the year's best new children's book published in the United Kingdom (long restricted to authors who were British subjects).

For articles on winning books see Category: Carnegie Medal in Literature–winning works.

The Medal was inaugurated for the 1936 publication year and there have been 85 Medals and winning works in 88 cycles through 2023/2024; there are only 78 winning authors because eight have won twice and two were co-authors.
