Bit of inconsistency on what games in a series are listed as imsims?
[edit]I know "immersive sim" - like most genre titles - is very vague and up for interpretation, but this list still feels... wonky even by that standard. Why is Ultima VI listed but not Ultima VII, which arguably has more immersive sim elements? Why is the Hitman reboot trilogy listed, but not Hitman: Blood Money or any of the other titles in the franchise (barring Absolution, which from my understanding is different enough to not be counted as one). What makes Far Cry 2 an imsim in a way 3 and 4 and 5 aren't?
I get having some omissions just by virtue of "it's a vague genre even by the standards of genres" but surely similar enough games in the same series should be counted, right? IcarusAvery (talk) 22:09, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
