Premise

[edit]

In the storyline, the murderous, nihilistic Deadpool of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe and Deadpool Killustrated, now called "Dreadpool", aims to hunt down all versions of Deadpool in an attempt to finally end his existence, facing off against the main continuity "Merc With A Mouth" Deadpool of Earth-616, who is recruited by the Deadpool Corps during a battle with ULTIMATUM. After the Deadpool Corps are killed in the process, Deadpool faces off against Dreadpool himself, who is eventually shown the error of his ways and killed by Deadpool in vengeance for causing the death of his friends. However, after Deadpool finds his way back to his universe, Dreadpool is revealed to the reader to still be alive and scheming.[4][5][6][7][8]
