Janet E. Jackson is a former American judge, United Way of Central Ohio president, and Columbus Civilian Police Review Board chair.
Education
[edit]Jackson graduated from Wittenberg University[1] and George Washington University Law School.[2]
Career
[edit]Jackson was the first woman to serve as Franklin County Municipal Court judge[3][4] and the first woman[5][6] and first African-American[2] as Columbus city attorney.[7] She was president of United Way of Central Ohio.[5] She chaired the Columbus Civilian Police Review Board.[8][9][10]
