New Edits - Shakespeare References

[edit]

Hi, I'm Alexandra from the QM Research Methods group. I plan on editing the article to include a new section on the strangely omitted Shakespeare references. Including the basing of the film upon the play The Taming of the Shrew and its direct reference to the characters names and behaviours. Other Shakespeare references also pop directly in several lines from the film, other characters, and the crux of the meta English class on Shakespeare in which the denouement takes place. I think it is also important to note that the screenwriting pair Karen McCullah and Lutz Kirsten Smith also wrote She's the Man (2006) - an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night, there are no other high school films nearly as successful based on Shakespeare plays, let alone there only being a few. It will all be backed up by thorough academic research and citations.

I have removed the "References to Shakespeare" section as it appeared to consist almost entirely of unsourced analytical claims. Please see WP:V, WP:NOR, and WP:RS for guidance. Similar sections have been removed in the past for the same reasons (see #Shakespeare references above). There was only 1 citation, and since it is a print source and the citation was placed at the end of a sentence I can only assume that it only supported that sentence, not the multiple paragraphs of analytical claims being made. --IllaZilla (talk) 17:43, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

New Edits - Soundtrack album

[edit]

Hi, I'm Elijah from the QM Research Methods group. I will be expanding on the soundtrack album section of the article. I will be discussing the albums success and a bit more context on the various bands and artists that were featured on the album. I will back my research with as much academic research as possible.

Title

[edit]

Quote: The film is titled after a poem written by Kat about her bittersweet romance with Patrick.

Although the poem she reads doesn't have this title, and she counts more than ten items of hate. Maikel (talk) 10:08, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
