I don't think this page is supposed to exist, and its probably an accident it's here.

The information on this page should be on the FGM-148_Javelin page at the bottom. Instead theres just a hyperlink to this page. I don't know how to merge the 2 together, so if someone with more skill can do it, it'd be appreciated. Thanks. Ghostalker

Please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/M1911 in popular culture. This information most certainly does NOT belong on the main page for the weapon. Wikipedia is not a list of trivia. Riddley 05:05, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
if it's trivial and not worth noting, it doesn't belong in wikipedia in the first place. However, this isn't excessively large and it's included rarely enough that there's no reason we can't put it back into the article. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 21:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Ghostalker in saying merge with the original Javelin page. Wiki has a lot of "in popular culture" sections, and it also helps educate about the subject (people tend to take in a lot from movies - often more than an encyclopaedia) For instance, people tend to know about lasers since they're in the Star Wars movies as weapons. Having this a merged will not only cause the solution of argument to be revealed, but also give an educational purpose.--Firehawk1717 22:59, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
