I know it's not a good idea to judge a film before seeing it but the trailer has already provoked a fair bit of early reaction and commentary from mainstream media ([1][2][3] for starters) which is probably enough to meet the notability requirements, and it might be worth including in the article. -- 109.78.213.246 (talk) 16:33, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks to those who covered this early reaction in the controversy section. You all did a good job making it clear it was an early reaction and separate from the critics reaction when they finally got to see the end result. -- 109.79.135.219 (talk) 21:25, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that a recent edit was made with the intention to "correct a mistaken reading of the film," by changing references to Renee perceiving a different physical appearance to statements that she "believes" herself to be beautiful. The text of the film is, to me, very clear that Renee not only feels differently about herself, but believes that her physical appearance has actually changed completely. She assumes that her friends won't recognize her anymore after she becomes beautiful, and later she assumes that Ethan will no longer recognize her after she is no longer beautiful. She is also surprised when her old coworker does recognize her. I think my changes to the article reflect the onscreen presentation of the film --DavidK93 (talk) 18:33, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
