In spite of all the excellent work you've done for Loyola University New Orleans, it still could be improved. There is a WP:TRIVIA section, which should probably be removed, and there are only six items in the references section. I think you have the knowledge and skill to turn the article into a Good Article, but it will require an expansion of references to cover the history of the university and the identification of notable alumni. If you need advice from experienced editors, you can ask at Wikipedia:Peer review.

You have edited on and off for a year, but your edits have stayed focused on your single field of interest, namely fraternities and sororities. Most editors, by this time in their career on wiki, tend to branch out and try working on topics or projects with which they are less familiar, or in site maintenance and administration. A good place to look for ideas is the Community Portal (link on the left sidebar).

I wish you good luck. Shalom Hello 19:43, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a case where you removed a whole reference, when only its link was broken. Everything in the reference but the link was still good, and the link was reparable (in the sense that one could find the same AP story reliably reproduced on the Web). You need to bear in mind that Wikipedia requires citations, but does not require that its citations be linked to Web content, and that it's better to fix a broken link than just to delete it. —SlamDiego←T 14:51, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Of the various contributions to WP, I would say I am most pleased with my writing and edits in the areas of Fraternities and Sororities, especially in conjunction with the the WikiProject. Also, I am pleased with my contributions to Loyola University New Orleans, which I helped to greatly expand to its current content.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
The only true conflict which I have been involved with was with User:SlamDiego over the content of Phi Kappa Psi, (the majority of which is recorded in Talk:Phi Kappa Psi), which its currently in mediation, though I have removed myself as a party in that discussion. While it was heated for a day, most of the conflict has been smoothed over. In the future, I plan to not let me get to a point where its gets that heated again.
