This is a timeline of events which occurred in 2077 while Sylvie Laufeydottir and Loki were stranded on Lamentis-1.
2077[]
- Loki and Sylvie Laufeydottir arrive on Lamentis-1, having barely escaped capture at the Time Variance Authority Office. Loki reaches for Sylvie's TemPad, and the two fight over it. Sylvie gets the TemPad, but it is out of battery. Sylvie swings a sword at Loki, who dodges and steals the TemPad.[1]
- Loki insists that Sylvie is not the only tech savvy Loki, offending Sylvie. Loki his the TemPad and the pair are about to fight, when a meteor crashes, prompting Sylvie to ask where they were sent.[1]
- Loki and Sylvie go outside, and Sylvie realizes where they are, and that the moon is about to crash into the planet, destroying it, and that Lamentis is the worst apocalypse Sylvie has been to. The two hide and seek cover, rushing into an abandoned building.[1]
- Sylvie attempts to enchant Loki, but it does not work. They draw weapons on each other, but Loki proposes that they work together, but Sylvie refuses. Sylvie scolds Loki for interrupting her plan, announcing her intention to kill both him and the Time-Keepers. They leave together, looking for a battery to power the TemPad.[1]
- Loki follows behind Sylvie and asks where they are going. Sylvie refuses to be called "Variant" or "Loki," insisting that she be called Sylvie. Loki ays that it is not very Loki-like to have an alias, so Sylvie asks what makes a Loki a Loki. Loki responds that a Loki has independence, authority, and style, prompting Sylvie to mock him for working with the Time Variance Authority. Loki asks Sylvie what she wants, saying that he would never walk away after creating a power vacuum, and they continue walking.[1]
- They reach an abandoned town, and Sylvie says that the planet will be destroyed in twelve hours. Loki asks if something might charge the TemPad, and Sylvie asks for the TemPad, but Loki refuses to hand it over. Sylvie says that the TemPad needs a bigger power source.[1]
- They come across a house and prepare to enter, as Loki suggests being diplomatic. Sylvie kicks the door down, but gets blasted by a homesteader's weapon. Loki apologizes for Sylvie, but the woman says that she enjoyed it. Loki says that they mean no harm, but the woman does not believe him.[1]
- Loki impersonates the woman's husband, but gets blasted back as well. Sylvie mocks Loki as the woman approaches them with her weapon. Sylvie asks where everyone is, and she says that they are going to the Ark. The woman directs them to the Lamentis-1 Train at the edge of town.[1]
- People wait in line to board the train, as Sylvie plans to enchant a guard. However, Loki insists on doing it his way. He casts an illusion of a guard uniform and guides Sylvie onto the train. They are stopped by a guard, and Loki claims to be taking Sylvie as a prisoner, with orders from the top. Sylvie enchants the guard, who lets them on board.[1]
- Loki takes Sylvie onto the train, and they argue about who sits where. Sylvie criticizes his plan and yawns, so Loki suggests she get rest. Sylvie refuses to sleep since she does not trust Loki. Sylvie asks what Frigga was like, and Loki says that she was a good person. Loki says that he was adopted, but Sylvie says that she had always known, surprising Loki. Sylvie says that she barely remembers her own mother. Loki shares an anecdote about Frigga doing magic tricks for her, and demonstrates that she taught him similar tricks.[1]
- Loki asks how she learned to enchant people, and Sylvie says that she taught herself, leading to a disagreement. A woman brings champagne, and Loki toasts to the end of the world. The two discuss the Lamentian woman and discuss love. Sylvie mentions having flings, asking about Loki. He says that he had had relationships with men and women, but nothing real. Sylvie suggests that love is mischief. Sylvie suggests getting rest.[1]
- Sylvie naps and wakes up to find Loki drunk, singing an Asgardian song. Sylvie asks where Loki's uniform is, noticing that he had changed into the outfit he was wearing with the Time Variance Authority. Sylvie notices people looking at Loki weirdly and tells him about them. Loki asks where her paranoia comes from, and Sylvie said it comes from running from the TVA.[1]
- Loki suggests that he has thought of an answer to love, suggesting that love is a dagger. Sylvie dismisses the notion. The guards approach Loki and Sylvie, asking for tickets. Loki accidentally casts an illusion of fireworks instead of tickets, so they try to arrest him. The guards begin fighting Loki and Sylvie, who defeat them with ease. Loki attempts to throw a dagger at the guard fighting Sylvie, but misses.[1]
- Loki is thrown out of the train, and Sylvie jumps out after him, wanting the TemPad. Sylvie holds a sword to Loki's neck, demanding the TemPad. Loki produces it, revealing that it is broken, causing Sylvie to scold him. Loki says that defeating the TVA is impossible, frustrating Sylvie.[1]
- Loki attempts to comfort Sylvie, and Loki asks what they should do. Sylvie says that she does not know what to do, and that the Ark never leaves because it was destroyed. Loki suggests hijacking the Ark and ensuring it leaves, and Sylvie agrees to the plan.[1]
- While walking to the Ark, Loki complains about the walk. Loki asks Sylvie to enchant him and walk for him, but Sylvie says that enchantment does not work that way. Loki asks if she can trust her, and Sylvie offers information about enchantment. She talks about how different people work in different ways.[1]
- Sylvie mentions that to enchant Hunter C-20, she had to access a memory from before she fought for the TVA, surprising Loki, who believed that the Time-Keepers created the TVA agents. Sylvie explains that every member of the TVA are variants, surprising Loki.[1]
- Escape from Lamentis-1:
- Sylvie and Loki arrive at Shuroo and say that they trust each other. They begin running through the city, as Loki realizes that the city is going to let the citizens die. The pair plan to run around the crowd start and begin to go.[1]
- They walk forward as the planet breaks apart and sends more meters, destroy buildings. An explosion knocks the two of them back, but they recover and keep running. They attack multiple guards.[1]
- Sylvie and Loki continue running as a building collapses, and briefly take cover. A building falls behind them as they run, and another collapses and nearly falls on them, but Loki stops it. They fight through several more guards and watch the arc attempt to take off, instead getting destroyed. Loki and Sylvie watch in shock, and Sylvie walks away, frustrated.[1]
- Sylvie sits on a rock outside the city and is joined by Loki. Loki apologizes, and Sylvie reminisces about the little she remembers about Asgard. She says that the universe manifests chaos to break free, sharing that as soon as her life became too different from what was scripted, she was arrested, so she stole a TemPad and ran. She shares about her time running and the discovery that she was safe during apocalypses, accepting her death.[2]
- Bigger meteors begin crashing onto the moon, and Sylvie asks if being a Loki means being destined to lose. However, Loki says that while they lose, they survive. He compliments her efforts against the TVA, and the two take hands. Meteors crash into the planet, causing massive explosions, causing massive avalanches. Timedoors open in front of them, and the TVA arrest the pair.[2]
