B'sso is one of the Masters of the Mystic Arts that trained and helped Stephen Strange at Kamar-Taj.

Training with Stephen Strange[]

B'sso mastered the ability to create Astral Projections. He was approached by Stephen Strange, who was struggling to form projections himself, asking for advice. B'sso explained that he did not have all the answers, and asked Strange if he thought the Masters of the Mystic Arts knew everything. Strange responded with uncertainty, and B'sso expressed pride that Strange was learning. Strange became upset for the lack of clarity in B'sso's answer.^[1]

• B'sso's name and likeness are a reference to Mark Basso, an editor of several Marvel Cinematic Universe comics. The character Mark Basso is also named after him.
