The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak[1][2] is a spell used to bind powerful foes.

Battle of Titan[]
Doctor Strange using the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to restrain Thanos
While participating in the Battle of Titan, Doctor Strange conjured the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak while fighting Thanos in order to restrain the Mad Titan's right arm, preventing him from using the Infinity Gauntlet. Strange then dispelled the Bands to allow Iron Man and Spider-Man to work on removing the Infinity Gauntlet and resummoned them to bind Thanos' other arm instead.[3]
Capabilities[]
The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak are capable of binding enemies, even withstanding those of great physical strength, evident when Doctor Strange's Crimson Bands were able to successfully restrain Thanos during the Battle of Titan, who was unable to remove the Bands.

- In the comics, the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak is a spell that summons durable bands that represent Cyttorak's indomitable will. It has been used by powerful sorcerers such as Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch to bind powerful targets, including Hulk and Juggernaut.
- In the third season of Marvel's Runaways, Tina Minoru mentions the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak when she casts the spell to escape from the Dark Dimension.[4]
